On October 11, the "Haizhu Bay" passenger ship docked at the Pazhou Hong Kong and Macao Passenger Port in Guangzhou, and more than 120 passengers from the Hong Kong International Airport (Hong Kong Haitian Ferry Terminal) disembarked one after another. The 136th Canton Fair will open on the 15th, and as of the 9th, more than 125,000 overseas buyers have pre-registered. More and more exhibitors choose to enter and exit from Pazhou Port, which is about 100 meters away from the Canton Fair Complex. Passenger vessels depart here 10 times a day to and from Hong Kong, forming a new hub for cross-border transportation on the water and a new channel for the convention and exhibition economy. As of the morning of the 11th, the Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center Customs, a subsidiary of Guangzhou Customs, has supervised 128,000 inbound and outbound passengers at Pazhou Port this year. "I came to the Canton Fair this time to purchase small household appliances such as coffee machines, juicers, and ice machines made in China. The experience was very good, and it was only a few minutes' walk to the exhibition hall and surrounding hotels, which saved time and energy. Brazilian buyer Allens Araujo said.

Exhibitors have gathered one after another, and overseas exhibits have also entered the country one after another. Since the first batch of inbound exhibits of the 136th Canton Fair entered the country smoothly on September 4, as of 9 o'clock on October 11, 72 batches of Canton Fair inbound exhibits worth more than 4.3 million yuan have entered one after another, and the exhibits are mainly from Egypt, Thailand, Turkey, Greece, Germany, Portugal, Nigeria, Pakistan and other countries and regions. "Judging from the current situation in the customs record, it is expected that enterprises from 49 countries and regions will bring electronic appliances, hardware tools, building materials and furniture and other exhibits into the country." Deng Qiang, deputy director of the customs of the Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center under Guangzhou Customs, introduced.

In order to ensure the smooth customs clearance of the Canton Fair's inbound exhibits, 20 facilitation measures are proposed, including the implementation of guarantee exemption for resident supervision, helping to broaden the sales channels of Canadian trade enterprises, facilitating the participation of imported food, cosmetics and medical equipment, expanding the scope of exhibited food, and implementing preferential tax policies for imported exhibits, from four aspects: strengthening service guarantee, providing policy support, improving customs clearance convenience, and deepening scientific and technological empowerment. Tan Wu, deputy director of Guangzhou Customs, introduced at a press conference held by Guangzhou Customs on the 11th that this Canton Fair will copy the convenience measures of the China International Import Expo on exhibition food for the first time, and introduce measures such as exempting the registration of overseas manufacturers of imported food to facilitate the entry of foreign specialty food.
